Live Music: Joey Appel

Guitarist and singer Joseph Appel is best-known as the impassioned and high-energy guitarist for Clarinet Cat Box and The Clambake Combo. His playing style encompasses Django-Reinhardt-esque French hot club jazz, gypsy bossa, torch songs and vintage swing from the Jazz Age of the 1920s and 1930s. He also dabbles in traditional klezmer music, original jazz and classical arrangements.
